A couple of the ways in which the Oak Hill Area Fire Safe Council helps to make the area safer from fire are through assessing the fire risks (Firewise Risk Assessment) and grants that help us to both improve our educational outreach and get contractors to help with some of the work that is required to make our roads safer, create fuel breaks, etc.

Oak Hill Fire Safe Council is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Oak Hill Fire Safe Council
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
