Want extra eyes on what might make your home and property safer from Wildfire?
We offer free, informal visits by two knowledgeable fire safe council volunteers. At your request, they will come evaluate your home and property with you, at no cost. Get specific ideas on creating better defensible space, and on hardening your home against wildfire (both of which are critical pieces of the wildfire safety puzzle). These volunteers have gone through multiple wildfire safety trainings. Following their recommendations is not guaranteed to save your home, but can help to greatly increase the odds of your home surviving a wildfire.
You will also receive helpful printed materials, and a write up of their recommendations.
Oak Hill Fire Safe Council is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Oak Hill Fire Safe Council
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
