CALDOR Fire Information
The Caldor Fire has many of us very concerned. The fire is burning in steep terrain and is growing quickly. This photo was taken at 7:00 AM Aug. 17th, 2021 from off Hanks Exchange Road.

The Eldorado National Forest also has a Caldor Fire Information Phone Line at (530) 303-2455 and is posting current information on their Facebook page and via Twitter.

Evacuation Orders are listed in the incident websites. You are encouraged to sign up for evacuation notices through the El Dorado Sheriff's Office's CodeRED system. Here is a link to sign up:

For those with scanners or GMRS Radios, several Neighborhood Radio Watch groups (NRW) are working to provide current information.
